![]() The Secret Cow Level is a small area, full of Hell Bovines: bipedal cattle with polearms. For example, one must first beat the game (through Act IV in the original game or Act V in the expansion) on Normal difficulty before you can create the Secret Cow Level in a game of Normal difficulty. Players can only create this portal when playing at a difficulty level they have already completed. A red portal will appear in the Act I starting area. To create a portal to the secret level, combine Wirt's Leg and a Tome of Town Portal in the Horadric Cube. He is still a tough enemy. The Secret Cow Level, also known as the Moo Moo Farm, can be found in Diablo II (with or without the expansion Diablo II: Lord of Destruction). The Cow King always appears inside the fenced enclosure, so it is easy to avoid him if players so choose. Formerly, killing him meant that the portal wouldn’t open again on the same difficulty level, but that has changed in Diablo 2: Resurrected. Leading the Hell Bovines is The Cow King. The secret cow level is known as Moo Moo Farm and is filled with bardiche-wielding bipedal cows called Hell Bovines. Note that the Tome of Town Portal does not need to be full for this to work. Go through it, and it leads to the secret cow level. ![]() Combine a Tome of Town Portal with Wirt’s Leg in the Horadric Cube, and it will open a red portal. Once players have beaten the final boss, return to the Rogue Encampment (the town in Act I) at the same difficulty level. This won't happen as much, as Resurrected has increased storage space, in addition to other Diablo 2 improvements, but it can still happen. If they find themselves running out of inventory and storage space during the game, don’t worry, they can ditch the leg until they need it. Even if they miss it though, players can always come back and get the leg later.
